Peabody’s charming performance... draws the audience into the teenager’s harrowing story of survival. Peabody perfectly captures the adolescent Abbie. She is almost constantly in motion with teenage angst and energy. The actor relentlessly reels the audience into Abbie’s world as her family’s tranquility and safety is upended. By the time the storm arrives, every theatergoer is emotionally gripped on Matinicus Rock with her. It is one of the most mesmerizing performances under the tenure of Artistic Director Jonathan Berry.

Bangor Daily News  ·  Matinicus: A Lighthouse Play

Katie Peabody... dazzled audiences earlier this year in the one-woman show “Matinicus” Peabody is excellent as the governess. She adeptly portrays the young woman’s eagerness for the job and excitement... The story is told through her eyes and emotions... It is a finely honed performance that succeeds on every level.

Bangor Daily News  ·  The Turn of the Screw

Peabody thoroughly embodies Beth’s gentle soul; her performance is an immense pleasure.

BroadwayWorld  ·  Little Women

While I admire Jo's courage, I have to confess my heart belongs to Beth (Katie Peabody). But I believe Jo's does, too. Every writer needs a loving person who says, “Tell me a story.”

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel  ·  Little Women

Katie Peabody... embodying the beautiful Beth March, shining warmly across the stage like the character in her own home. While Jo is the most obvious protagonist, Beth is the heart—or the conscience, as the Marches call her—of the story.

DramaintheHood  ·  Little Women

Katie Peabody gives a stunning performance that begins with the giddy ebullience of a curious girl on the brink of life and abruptly shifts to quiet anguish.
